King Promise, a multiple nominee in the awards scheme’s history, made his fans proud when he finally snatched home not one but two awards on the night.

“ALBUM OF THE YEAR ..AFROBEATS/AFROPOP ARTIST OF THE YEAR @ghmusicawards.

After delivering a stellar performance, he went on to pick four awards, making him the highest award-winner of the night.

It was therefore not surprising that he snatched two big awards for his “Sugarcane” song.

The Gospel fraternity was all out for Piesie Esther, rooting for her to win the ultimate Artist of the Year award on the night, however, she lost out to Black Sherif.

Despite not picking up the ultimate award, she still managed to snatch not one but two awards on the night.
