The plaque was presented to the fast-rising African artist on the 30th of December 2022 after the conclusion of his performance at the Afronation concert in Ghana by Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy for Audiomack, Jason Johnson,d Charlotte Bwana Director of Brand and Media partnerships for Audiomack.

Commenting on Black Sherif’s many wins and recent plaque presentation, and Audiomack’s commitment to commemorating laudable achievements of African artists, Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy Jason Johnson commended the incredible increase in the artist’s music listenership as a clear indication of his undeniable growth in the last few years.

Since emerging onto the scene in 2019 with the release of his song “Cry For Me on YouTube, Black Sherif has since then taken the music industry by storm with his hit singles, “First Sermon”, “Kwaku The Traveller” which ranked number 1 several music charts in the world
