Sarkodie refused to feature on my song because it was too profane for his brand-Mzbel

Ghanaian singer, Mzbel has revealed that award-winning rapper, Sarkodie  turned down a feature with her because “it didn’t fit his brand.”

According to the “16 years” singer, Sarkodie’s reason for not wanting to be on the song was because it sounded too profane.

“Sarkodie has browned me before, he turned down my offer to feature him. He said the song wasn’t good for his brand.

“…but he has done a lot of profane songs,” she added.

Mzbel made this revelation on Neat FM during a discussion about Kuami Eugene who said he was “uncomfortable” that Sarkodie made him feature on his “Happy Day” song  without revealing the true intentions of the song.

Reacting to the issue, Mzbel stated;

“They sent him half, he recorded his verse, went to the video shoot, heard the other half but still proceeded to say ‘they call me Eugene’ in the song so he has no case.”
