Kwadwo Sheldon breaks silence on loss of YouTube channel, creates new one

Kwadwo Sheldon’s Youtube account which is most popular for content like “The breakdown” and “Yawa Of The Day” went missing on YouTube yesterday. He told Ameyaw Debrah that his channel was deliberately hacked by an unknown group of person.

This is a sad development considering the whopping number of subscribers on it. Before it was terminated, he had over 140,000 subscribers and an average viewership of 20K in a day.

Commenting on the termination, Sheldon wrote on Twitter.

The Africa Digital Awards 2020 nominee has swiftly created a new YouTube channel and already has over 1,0000 subscribers.

Kwadwo Sheldon in a new video detailing how he stole his channel said.

“I was asleep when google sent me a warning message that I had been logged out of my account. So I checked, logged in and realised someone had taken over my account.”

He continued that: “they started premiering some Japanese and Chinese videos on his account, deleting my old videos.”

Later, Google took down the account.

Sheldon whose Gmail account was also hacked said he was sure google took down the account because they sensed that there was something suspicious going on on the channel.
