Police officers caught trading bail for money

By law, police enquiry bail is free but in practice some police officers take money before releasing suspects on bail.

A team of Corruption Watch investigators have gone undercover and will tomorrow Friday March 22, 2019 release a radio documentary that exposes police officers bending the rule and enriching themselves by monetising the processes that lead to the granting of police enquiry bail.
