Roy Keane reignites feud by labelling Haaland a spoilt brat

Roy Keane intensified his ongoing feud with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, labeling the star forward a “spoilt brat” following his on-field tantrum during the weekend.

Haaland’s four-goal performance against Wolves contributed to Manchester City’s 5-1 victory, but his substitution by manager Pep Guardiola prompted a display of frustration on the touchline.

This isn’t the first time Keane has criticised Haaland.

Previously, he likened the striker to a “League Two kind of player” after lackluster performances in important matches earlier in the season.

When asked about those comments following his four-goal showing against Wolves on Sunday, Haaland bluntly responded: “I don’t really care that much about that man, so that’s all right.”

Keane when asked about Haaland’s angry reaction to being taken off against Wolves despite already scoring four wasn’t too impressed.

“We saw Haaland brought off, not too happy, behaving like a spoilt brat.“When you have the spat with the manager and you’re star man… it doesn’t help if results aren’t going your way, but because they win the game and he scores goals, it’s almost forgotten about,” he said.

The former Manchester United midfielder also had his say on whether it was okay for Haaland to be annoyed at being substituted, which he blatantly said it wasn’t

Keane doubled down, saying: “No, no.

No, it’s not.”

Keane was infamously sent off for a horror challenge on Erling’s father Alfie when he was playing for City after Alfie’s tackle had sent Keane into a long injury lay-off and most fans believe the incident still runs inside Keane.

Meanwhile, Haaland has taken a comfortable lead on the scorers chart now with 25 goals with Cole Palmer  following with 21 goals.

Meanwhile, City are still keen on winning the title for a record fourth consecutive time with four matches to end the season.
