NDC not a serious political party – Movement for Change Comms team member

Inusah attributed this characterization to what he perceives as a history of incompetence within the NDC ranks.

“The NDC being one of the biggest opposition, is not a serious political party.

Let me tell you the NDC party executives they pay delegates to hold positions and we know that,” he said.

He further characterized the current political landscape in Ghana as a “kakistocracy,” where less competent individuals ascend to power due to their financial influence over party delegates.

In discussing the departure Alan Kyerematen from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he asserted that “In the NPP constitution, if you have more than 5 candidates running for flag bearer ship, we have what we call the super delegates, and he contested the super delegates and he was number 3, but Alan left on principle that the party that he himself was a founding member did not uphold to the same founding values that he Alan was part of.”

Inusah asserted that, “No political entity neither any political ideology or any political bigot can propagate any credible, corrupt or scandalous allegation against the personality of Alan Kojo Kyerematen.”

He also emphasized that acts of kindness by Kyerematen should not be misconstrued as attempts to buy political favor.

“You see, you don’t need to be a politician to show kind gestures to people, so if you’ve heard that Hon.

Alan Kyerematen has shown kind gestures to people, ordinary people that have approached him for help it doesn’t mean that he’s buying their conscience,” he added.

Furthermore, Dr.

Inusah compared the public service records of Kyerematen, John Dramani Mahama, and Alhaji Bawumia, suggesting that Kyerematen stands apart in terms of integrity and competence.

“And let’s look at his record in public service and compare to Mahama and that of Alhaji Bawumia, you can’t compare both and that’s why I kept on saying that it’s like comparing a bicycle to a motorbike, in terms of corruption, none of these candidates stands the chance to extricate themselves from any corrupt activity in governance,” he stated.
