Samuel Inkoom advises Dreams FC ahead of Zamalek clash|

Former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom has urged Dreams FC to stay positive and focus on grinding the result against Zamalek in the semifinal second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Still Believe lads will host the Egyptian giants at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, April 28, 2024, for the return leg of the matchup.

During the first leg, Karim Zito’s men’s resilience paid off as they denied the 2019 champions a win at the Cairo International Stadium last Sunday as the game ended in a goalless draw.

Dreams FC are now eager to take full advantage of playing at home in a more dicey fixture and Samuel Inkoom is confident despite the Ghanaian side’s inexperience, they have still gotten what it takes to sail through to the final.

“I will congratulate them,” the former Kotoko and Hearts of Oak star told Maakye Sports on Onua TV.

“This is the time Ghanaians have to support Dreams FC.”

“They should stay calm, be positive and I think they can get the results.

They can lose but all will depend on the mindset they take to the game.” he advised.

With the Ghana FA Cup champions already exceeding expectations in their debut campaign, they are already preparing massively for the showdown which kicks off at 4 pm local time.

Having already achieved the feat of being the first Ghanaian side to reach the knockout stage of the competition since 2004 and eventually extending it to the semifinals, Dreams FC are eager to reach the final and attempt to clinch the trophy historically despite their low status in African football.
