Guinness World Record: Heavy downpour wet studios of beatmaker attempting record | 3News

Heavy rains in the dawn of Friday, March 22 interrupted a beatmaker attempting the record for the longest recording marathon (Rec-A-Thon).

Tema-based beat maker Forqzy Beatz begun his record attempt on Thursday, March 21 at the forecourt of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly aiming to record for five days to break the record.

Forqzy Beatz has done 10 hours and was in action at the time his established studio was wet by the heavy downpour on Friday dawn.

The current record for the longest recording marathon with multiple artists is 40 hours with 30 artistes and was achieved by Blaqk stereo and Near Protocol of Nigeria between 25 June 2022 and 27 June 2022.
