Inter Miami confirm Messi’s first match sold out

Inter Miami confirmed the DRV PNK Stadium is sold out for Lionel Messi’s highly anticipated debut on Friday.

Miami will face Liga MX side Cruz Azul in their first League Cup game in Fort Lauderdale, where Messi is expected to make his first appearance for the club.

Despite some speculation about Messi’s readiness for the match, ticket prices skyrocketed as soon as he confirmed his move to Inter Miami from Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami comes on a two-year deal, following his departure from PSG.
