We are aiming at winning the Grammys for Ghana – US based Ghanaian artiste Elizha

US-based Ghanaian female artiste, who goes by the stage moniker, Elizha has shared that she plans to win Ghana’s first Grammy Award.

The rising star, who also revealed the inspiration behind her stage name during an appearance on TV3’s New Day, said she wants to be known as the prophetess of music globally.

According to Elizha, she wanted to be recognized by a biblical name thus fusing her middle name and inspiration from the Bible.

“At first, I wanted to take a name from the Bible.

Just like the prophet Elisha, I wanted to be the prophetess of music but my middle name is Elizabeth so, these are the two reasons why I chose that name,” she stated.

The songstress who won the Discovery of the Year at the , said she is confident about how her future will turn out.

“My future is bright.
