C/R fatal accident: GNFS cautions drivers against over speeding

The Central Public Relations Officer of the , D.O 3 Abdul W Hudu, has attributed the spate of accidents on the highways in the region to overspeeding.

He cautioned drivers to minimize the speed on the highway.

Speaking on the mid day news on TV3 Tuesday, May 30, he said the drivers must be cautious on the road.

Sixteen people died and several others were injured in an accident that occurred at Gomoa Okyereko in the Central Region.

The accident involved an Accra-bound Yutong bus and a fuel tanker with the registration number WR 2063-10.

The 15 passengers died on the spot.
