VIDEO: State House gets ready to host funeral of Christian Atsu

Preparations are underway at the State House as it gets ready to host the final funeral rites of Christian Atsu on Friday, March 17.

The former Black Stars winger died in February after being trapped in rubble for several days following a massive earthquake in Turkey.

As a large gathering is expected to mourn the loss of the beloved footballer, the State House is being prepared to accommodate the mourners.

3Sports’ Bill Eshun visited the venue on Thursday and witnessed the ongoing preparations.

Christian Atsu's final funeral rites will be done on March 17, 2023 at the State House in Accra.

His sudden death has shocked the football community, and his funeral is expected to be attended by many of his former teammates, coaches, and fans.
