Infantino re-elected as Fifa president for four more years

Gianni Infantino, the current president of Fifa, has been re-elected to serve another term of four years as the head of the world’s football governing body.

Infantino, who took over from Sepp Blatter in 2016, retained his position in 2019 and now, after running unopposed, will continue to lead Fifa until 2027.

Speaking at the 73rd Fifa Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, Infantino expressed his gratitude and sense of responsibility.
