Ghanaian music star for funding his knee replacement surgery in 2016.

Six years ago, Stonebowy told Joynews that he always planned to undergo surgery to correct his knee that got damaged in an accident.He disclosed that he suffered a knee injury after an accident in his teen.

Detailing the trauma, Stonebwoy revealed that he promised his mother that he fix himself back into the “complete, nice boy” she birthed.

“The lesson learnt in it is perseverance and determination.

He studied at Methodist Day Secondary School and continued at the to earn a degree in marketing in 2013.

In 2015, Stonebowy won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in the same year.

He is married to Louisa Ansong Satekla, with two children between them.
