‘I wasn’t even running that fast’ - Kamaldeen Sulemana reacts to running fastest time at World Cup

Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana says he wasn’t even “running that fast” when he hit a top speed of 22.18mph which was the fastest at the 2022 World Cup.

The winger hit the top speed in the final group game against Uruguay which saw the Black Stars eliminated from the competition.

The 20-year-old run faster than Nico Williams (22.12mph), David Raum (22.00mph), Antonee Robinson (21.99), and Daniel James (21.99mph).

Ghana’s emerged as the fastest player at the 2022 .

Sulemana played just 58 minutes for the Black Stars at the just-ended Mundial and will look to get more consistent minutes with Rennes during the second half of the season.
