Japanese national arrested in Ghana upon a request by INTERPOL Tokyo | 3NEWS.com

The Police in Ghana have announced that a Japanese national, Morikawa Hikawu has been arrested in Ghana.

The arrest followed a revocation of his passport by Japan.

The suspect was put before court and was remanded into lawful custody awaiting his removal from the country, a Police statement said on Tuesday August 2.

“The INTERPOL Unit of the Ghana Police Service is working with the , INTERPOL Tokyo and the Japanese Embassy in Ghana for his removal,” the statement said.
