Maiden edition of Akoma FM’s ‘Mr. President’ attracts high interest

Akoma FM’s flagship morning show GhanAkoma has introduced a new segment to relay the innermost concerns of citizens to the president of the land.

Dubbed ‘Mr. President’, the segment is a monologue session which seeks to address the president on issues affecting national development.

The segment will be aired within the morning show every Wednesday.

The focus of the new segment as part of GhanAkoma morning show is to directly tell the president the itching sentiments of the over 30 million Ghanaians.

On the maiden edition on Wednesday, January 6, the topic for discussion was ‘Assessing the the size of government of Akufo-Addo-led administration in his first term’.

The topic dissected the amount of money churned into paying the over 123 ministers and its value for money in protecting the public purse.

Viewers on social media and listeners’ feedback via phone-in showed interest and commended Akoma FM with such dynamic, innovative and unique segment on the morning show.

Most of the feedback congratulated host Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin and urged him on to keep holding duty bearers accountable.
