CAF Confed Cup: Aduana drawn against Raja Casablanca, ASEC & AS Vita Club in Gr A

Aduana Stars are Ghana’s only campaigners still in Africa

Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars will battle Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas and AS Vita Club of DR Congo in Group A of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.

The group stage draw was held at the CAF headquarters in Egypt on Saturday.

Aduana Stars dropped from the CAF Champions League at the expense of Algerian side ES Setif but managed to .

Aduana’s first game will be in La Cote d’Ivoire on Friday, May 4.

They will host former winners Raja Casablanca and AS Vita in their second and third games respectively to complete the first round.

The winners and runners-up will qualify to the quarter-final of the Cup, in a format introduced last year.

Group A: ASEC Mimosas, Raja Casablanca, AS Vita Club, Aduana Stars

Group B: RS Berkane, Al-Masry, UD Songo, Al Hilal

Group C: Enyimba, Williamsville AC, CARA Brazzaville, Djoliba

Group D: Rayon Sports, USM Alger, Young Africans, Gor Mahia
