[Audio] Cash-for-coins business booms in Accra

The business of selling coins and lower denominations seems to be growing really thick and fast as many youth are visibly seen on some streets of Accra in a brisk business adventure.

They seem to be making a fortune out of it as one of them tells 3FM he makes 10 per cent profits off any amount he changes.

Joyce, also a trader in the coins-selling business, tells 3FM she abandoned her textile business for coins-selling.

She says her new business earns her as much profit as GHS200 on a good day.

In the following documentary, Jeraline Tamba and Patience Agyekum went out onto the streets to engage some traders.
