‘Let's Unite For The Development Of Our Municipality'- Karbo

The Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, says he is determined to work with development partners to ensure the accelerated development of the Constituency during his tenure.

According to the MP, he was in a hurry to see Lawra take her place as a land of endless opportunities and immerse wealth.

The MP made this known on Friday, 12th October, 2018, when he delivered a speech at the Annual Kobine Festival of the Chiefs and People of Lawra, on the theme ‘“UNITING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR MUNICIPALITY THROUGH CULTURE AND QUALITY EDUCATION”

While the MP cited the recent elevation of the Lawra from a District to a Municipal status as beneficial he stated those advantages would only be gained if residents united in their efforts to overcome.

The MP stressed the need to avoid excessive and unhealthy partisanship which he said retrogressed developmental efforts.
