Open Day at Adabraka Polyclinic
Management of the Adabraka Polyclinic and held an Open Day last Tuesday, September 18, 2018 to interact with clients and stakeholders as a means of promoting accountability in healthcare service provision.

Participants included the Osu-Klottey Sub-Metro Chairman, Mr. Henry Kotei Kotey ; the Metro Director of Health, Dr. Esi Therson-Cofie; the Police Commander for the Adabraka Police station, Chief Superintendent Edith Gyawu; Assemblyman for Ringway Electoral area, Hon. Erasmus Xerton; a representative from the Member of Parliament of Klottey Korle constituency, a representative for the Greater Accra Regional Health Directorate and others from the Adabraka and Novotel markets, Madam Joan Oku from Jonak Foundation, an NGO in the Osu-Klottey Sub-Metro Area and Dr. Pinaman Appau, Medical Director of Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

The Queen mother of Adabraka, Naa Korkor Aadzieoyi 1, chaired the interaction.

The Specialist-in -Charge, Dr. Selorm Botwe gave participants a tour of the facility and also appraised them of services available to the General Public. Participants also had the opportunity to seek clarification on issues of concern to them and to provide feedback on their observations.

Adabraka Polyclinic was established in 1945 and has since provided quality and comprehensive primary healthcare to people in Adabraka and the Osu-Klottey Sub Metropolitan areas. Apart from providing 24-hours Emergency, Out-Patient, In-patient, Delivery and Pharmacy Services the facility also runs daily Family Planning, Child Welfare and Antenatal services.
