I Endorse Ofosu Ampofo For NDC National Chair....He's Served Gov't Well - C/R Minister
Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan has thrown his weight behind the Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo for the position of the party's National Chairman.

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, who doubles as the party's Vice National Chairman is vying for the seat of Kofi Portuphy - the party's National Chairman - in their impending delegates Congress.

He vowed on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" on Wednesday, September 12, not to step down for any individual to contest the National Chairman position in the party.

"I’m not stepping down for anybody. This is my time. I’ve worked. I’ve gotten the experience. I’ve what it takes to lead the NDC party to recapture power from the NPP . . .I want to be in the driving seat and steer the party, and drive the party to victory. And with God on my side, I believe I’m very useful...I have the strength, the tenacity, the capacity, the ability; both intellectually and practically to be able to lead the NDC", he stated.

Kwamena Duncan on the Kokrokoo platform Wednesday, endorsed Mr. Ofosu Ampofo touting him as the suitable candidate for the NDC National Chairmanship.

He was optimistic Mr. Ofosu Ampofo will emerge victor during their Congress saying "he represents a whole institution in that party. The truth is since the beginning of the NDC, you’ll see him straddle along the entire history; entire plot. He’s served in various and several capacities, not just within the party but government as well”.
