Video: I used to be emotional when people say I’m arrogant – D-Cryme

Rapper D-Cryme has revealed that some years ago, he used to be worried about criticisms that he is arrogant.

The rapper said the situation got so dire that, he sometimes got emotional because of that.

D-Cryme, since his rise to fame in 2010, has been at the receiving end of attacks and criticisms that he is arrogant. Some people had even attributed the dip in his career to it. 

Commenting on the perception, the Tema-based rapper said on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM: “when I was young, I was very concerned about this.”

“I was very emotional back in the day,” when people made comments to the effect that he is arrogant.

The ‘Kill Me Shy’ hitmaker said later realised: “Personally, they [people] never had a problem with me.”

“I am super free,” he said and explained that people close to him know but unfortunately, people, from afar, may think otherwise.

He believes that “as we are growing, we are learning,” and “people will say things regardless,” what the person does.
