Nana Aba Anamoah Has More Work To Do Because Fans Took Tramadol To Attend ‘EndTramadolAbuse’ Concert – Kofi Kinaata Shares Experience

Kofi Kinaata has shockingly revealed that fans in Sunyani took tramadol before making an appearance at the recently held  #EndTramadolAbuse concert organised by GhOne TV which took place inside Sunyani metropolis.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, born Martin King Arthur aka Kofi Kinaata revealed that there is more work to be done if GhOne television wants to end tramadol abuse among the youths.

“I went to play one say no to tramadol show by GhOne TV in Sunyani last Friday. But judging from the way the fans were dancing you could see that they were on different level.Even under the say no concert people were abusing it. Slow tempo song and people were dancing fast. So I told Nana Aba that they have a lot to do cos the people took it at home before coming to the event”, Kofi Kinaata shockingly said.

More importantly, Kofi Kinaata who’s well-known for ‘Confession’ hit song went on to advise the youth to desist from taking tramadol taking into consideration the adverse effects of the infamous drug.

“If we say “say no” it really means say no. When you take tramol you are doing your own self. Ghana will be ‘sweet’ soon so you don’t have to destroy your life. You will be alloo by that time”.

For clarity sake, tramadol is a narcotic-like pain reliever. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Studies have shown that, tramadol can slow or stop your breathing, and may be habit-forming or other person using the medicine without a prescription.

 

However, the abuse of the drug is getting out of hand among men. Some individuals mix the drug with energy drinks and other alcoholic beverages or take them raw as sexual enhancers.

There have been reported cases of deaths among some young people who have abused the drug. It’s in this light that a lot of celebrities have decided to join hands to fight against tramadol abuse. Such fighters include, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Edem, Samini, Kofi Kinaata among others.
