New Foton Auman EST Tractor head unveiled by Japan Motors

The new Foton Auman Energy Super Track (EST) Tractor Heads with Cummins Engine and ZF Gearbox has been unveiled by Japan Motors Trading Company Ltd (JMTC), sole distributors of Foton range of vehicles in Ghana.

The new EST was unveiled alongside two other strategic models namely the M-Series and the TM Series.

Known as one of the brands that provides solutions for all ranges of road transportation from regional long haul, intercity and inner city for both passenger and cargo transport, the new models come with premium design, technology features and performance, upgrade focus on new exterior design, higher levels of interior quality and improved driving performance and comfort.

Unveiling the vehicles at a Press launch at JMTC Showroom in Accra, Mr. Amine Kabbara, General Manager, Sales & Marketing at JMTC stated that the new Foton Auman was first launched into the global market in 2001 but has gone through series of improvement and innovations based on the company’s focus on technological advancement.

He highlighted the fact that tractors are becoming dominant in Ghana’s automobile industry thus the need for JMTC to invest in this huge market.

He further noted that The New EST which is designed based on super power, super safety, super comfortable, easy maintenance and most economical comes with servicing intervals of 30,000km and 200,000km or 2 years warranty.

Mechanical features include: The New Foton Auman EST Tractor Head, is powered by Cummins ISG 11.8L Turbo-Charging Diesel Engine. It generates a maximum torque of 2300NM with 430 Horse Power, 132 mm engine Cylinder Diameter with Euro III Emission Standard, 6×4 drive with Foton-Daimler Technology and the new generation ZF gearbox, Front Axel Load: 7.5 tons rear axle load, 13 tons x2, kerb weight of 10,430kg and gross vehicle weight of 90,000KG.
