Real Madrid to play Bayern, Liverpool Roma in UEFA Champs League semis

Madrid saw off a German opposition before winning their 2016 title

Real Madrid have been drawn to play German giants Bayern Munich in the semi-final of this year’s UEFA Champions League.

The draw, which was held on Friday at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, will see the champions travel away to Munich’s Allianz Arena for the first leg.

English Premier League flagbearers Liverpool will host Italian side AS Roma in the other semi-final match.

The first legs are scheduled for April 24/25 while the return legs will be played May 1/2.

The final is scheduled to be played at Ukraine’s Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex on May 26.
